Introduction
Dr. R. Brinto Collins is a vibrant and dynamic personality. He is a self-motivator with personal competencies like hard work, dedication and sincerity. He has 4 years of Research experience and has been working as a guest lecture for 10 months in Malankara Catholic College, Mariagiri prior to joining the esteemed KPR family. He completed his B.A. from Scott Christian College, Nagercoil, M.A. from AVS College of Arts and Science, Salem, M.Phil. from VHNSN College, Virudhunagar and pursued his Doctoral Research degree in Madurai Kamaraj University as a Full-Time Research Scholar. He was conferred Degree of Doctor of Philosophy under Madurai Kamaraj University. His Doctoral Degree has been awarded in Compliance of the UGC Regulations 2009. He has proceeded with an academic M.A. project under the title “Search for Identity in Special Reference to Sally Morgan’s My Place”. His M.Phil. dissertation focuses on the area of Indian Plays by Mahesh Dattani. His Doctoral degree focuses on the area of Short Fictional writings of Immigrant Indian Writers with a critical and comparative insight by bringing light upon the thematic heads like Diaspora and Immigrant Experiences. During the tenure of his Doctoral Research, he has visited Port Blair, Andaman Islands in relation to his academic enhancement for an International Conference. He also has gained an additional M.A degree in English Language and Linguistics from Madurai Kamaraj University.
His areas of specialization include World Comparative Literature, Language and Linguistics, Australian Literature and English Grammar Usage. He secured Second rank in M.Phil. degree by VHNSN College. Being a literary Scholar and an active researcher, he has published 11 papers (ISSN) in UGC recognized journals and also attended 2 International and 9 National Seminars, 5 International Conferences and 9 National Workshops. In addition to his teaching performance, his professional skills include content as well as report writing. His strength is based on his writing skills. He is an efficient orator and writer in the field of English Language and Literature.
