Introduction
Dr. S.P. Sreekala, Professor and Head, Centre for Research and Development at the School of Management, KPR College of Arts Science and Research, Coimbatore, is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance. With over 21 years of teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, along with four years in industry, she brings a unique blend of academic insight and practical knowledge to her role. She has a strong research background spanning 14 years, during which she has guided nine M.Phil. scholars and ten Ph.D. scholars (at foreign universities), with four Ph.D. scholars currently under her mentorship. Demonstrating her expertise in securing academic funding, she has successfully received a cumulative Rs. 25,81,863 in government grants, supporting impactful projects funded by major agencies such as the TNSCST, RBI, NHRC, ICSSR, AICTE, ICPR, and NCW
She has made substantial contributions to academic literature, authoring four books and publishing extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including three papers in Web of Science, nine Scopus-indexed articles, four Scopus-indexed book chapters, and thirty papers in UGC Care Journals. Her innovative contributions in HR and Finance are further underscored by two published patents. Active on the conference circuit, she has presented 32 papers at international conferences, 56 at national conferences, and participated in 34 seminars and 14 FDPs. In recognition of her leadership, she has served as a resource person for various events, chaired six conferences, and held positions as an editorial member for 11 journals. As an academic leader, she is a Doctoral Committee member for 12 scholars and has served as an international judge. With international exposure from visits to Malaysia.
