Dr. S.P. Sreekala completed her Ph.D. in Management Studies from PSG College of Technology, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. She is an experienced academician with more than two decades of postgraduate (MBA) teaching experience, specializing in Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Finance. She has successfully guided over 17 international research scholars and is currently guiding 4 Ph.D. scholars under Bharathiar University. Dr. Sreekala is recognized for her strong contribution to research, academic leadership, and higher education development.

Apply for a full-time or part time fellowship

You will get access to state-of-the-art research facility, industry grade labs and mentoring support from our expert staff. Full-time fellows receive a monthly stipend of ₹20,000 for three years, with an additional ₹5,000 for valid GATE scores.

Research Promotion Policy

KPRCAS is on its course to be among the top-notch institutions in India and across the globe. This document provides information on the research policy & promotional activities of KPRCAS. The policy aims at ensuring that the research activities of the college conform to all applicable rules and regulations of statutory bodies such as the affiliating University and UGC, etc. Established standards and norms relating to safety, ethics, and the environment will be fully complied with during the conduct of any research activity.

Standards

Undertaking Research

  • All students and faculty undertaking research are expected to maintain high standards of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Create and maintain research infrastructure in terms of equipment, research journals, books, and software.
  • Develop a policy framework that encourages researchers through concessions, incentives, and awards.
  • Develop and implement an official Code of Ethics to check malpractices and plagiarism in research.
  • Promote Interdepartmental / Interdisciplinary research.

Duties

  • Identify the research areas.
  • Procure Research Equipment, Books, Journals, and Software.
  • Create Research Budget.
  • Recommend Incentives for research activities.
  • Assign individual and Departmental targets for research activities.
  • Monitor the Target Vs Actuals of individuals, departments, and the College.
  • Counsel faculty and students.

Ph.D. Fellowship

Frequently Asked Questions

Financial assistantship is available for Full-time Ph.D. students in the form of teaching assistantship or research assistantship.

Teaching assistantship — students under this plan are expected to help the instructors in various courses for the smooth running of the course.

Research assistantship — students under this plan are expected to help the faculty members in various research projects. They may be assigned limited academic duties.

Special research assistantships are available for system administration and development of the institute IT system. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience in system administration.

All candidates applying for this fellowship have to appear for an interview conducted by the Research committee and those who qualify will be offered a fellowship of Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for a period of three years. Scholars with a valid GATE score will get an additional stipend of Rs. 5,000/- for a period of three years.

Only full-time regular students are eligible for assistantships and scholarships.
